Right now I’m on the plane from NYC. By the time I get this posted I might be home home. But, must this little journal. We slept in this morning, and took our morning “coffee and” at a little bakery called Magnolia. It was filled to the brim with elegant, extravagant and delicious baked goods, whimsy and charm. Good coffee.
I prayed my rosary today in St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It was noisy. Because it was the diocesan ordinations! And Cardinal Dolan was there…crazy timing. So cool.
We met up with our people, and walked over the Highline, a overhead park that was once a railway above the city. Check it HERE for the next time you are in the City.
At the other end of the Highline, we went to an incredible dance show at the Joyce Theatre in Chealsea, followed up by a stroll through Chelsea and the Chelsea Market.
Dinner at Sammy’s House of Barbecue.
And then, wonder of wonders, if we didn’t have time to squeeze at hip hop class right before we bolted off to the airport for our midnight flight home.
Very hip hoppy. Very tired.
We subwayed off to JFK at about 9:30 pm, didn’t sleep much, picked up by my dear sister-in-law at 3:30 a.m. and here I am now, on the BC ferry, Queen of Whatever, on Sunday morning, heading home.
Been so very nice traveling with y’all.
